first time blogging

I haven’t got around to blogging until now. Possibly because I've been having trouble with my blog.

Chelsea has gathered people from all around the world which is great as it’s a chance to meet different people. That’s the difference between college and uni.  Also the amount of students in one group can be funny especially when you enter the studio and can’t tell who the teacher is!

So far I’ve gone through 3 rotations,fashion and textiles,fine art and visual communication. At the moment I’m in my first week of 3D spatial design.The weeks have been really interesting in terms of the work we produce. The variety keeps me interested, but I guess soon I will have to specialise in an specific area.

my first rotation was fashion and textiles, when i first started this foundation course i had my mind set on fashion however after the rotation my mind completely changed as i didnt enjoy the whole context of what we were doing.i thought that fashion and textiles was going to be something different to the work what we done,however i'm glad that i experienced this as it has allowed me to broaden my mind into different areas of what i want to do.

my second roation was fine art,i enjoyed this soo much as it allowed me to express myself,ideas and creativity.i particularly like the fact that the brief what we was set wasnt too specific,leaving me to work more freely and express my ideas without feeling pressured.i belive that fine art had a great impact on the choice i'm going to make at the assesment as i feel that it has changed my thoughts on what i want to carry on doing and what i actually enjoy.

my third roatation was vis com,funny enough i actually enjoyed it,i didnt think i will but i did.although we had a set brief the individuality about the project intersted me as everyone had a different approach to the context of the work.i started cosidering this as a option,between fine art however i thought of the specific set brief then that started to give me douts leading me to think that i woulnt be able to express myself the way i would like.

i am now in my last rotaion which is 3d spatial......so far it seems interesting.
